This seemingly innocuous eyepatch is completely mundane unless worn by an elemental mage. To a mage it grants them the use of the Fear power, though they must use their own Spellcasting skills and Power Points to activiate it.
When a mage wearing the eyepatch does so, they exude an aura of palpable intimidation that can cause those around them to shrink away, or even flee in terror!
The mage must get a raise on the spellcasting roll to allow their allies to be immune to the effects of the eyepatch.
Wearing the eyepatch over a 'good' eye give the effects of the 'one eye' hindrance until the eyepatch is removed.
