A Pirate from earth, that the crew rescued from the flotsam sea, where he gave them his name as John Low. After leaving him ashore, they encountered him several months later in Keira, where there were tales of an Edward Low, a viscious pirate, in the area, who's ship had been sunk, but had escaped the Keirans.
Later, Low led a mutiny, abandoning the loyal crew on one of the Whip Islands.
A 'survivor' of one of Low's piratical acts has been encountered, a ship's cook forced to eat his own fingers.
